Life After OE

I received this email yesterday and it made me want to cry. I had a lot of great experiences at OE and met some really fantastic people. Being a part of this call is more flattering than anything I've been asked to do this year (even the Wake Forest magazine interview--- which I'm surprised I didn't post about and the "what to do with a BA in psychology" panel--which I totally forgot about)

Adwoa,

Hello! I'm Denise, one of the current One Economy VISTAs in Winston-Salem. I've heard wonderful things about you and the work you did during your year of service!

This week I'm trying to pull together a "Life After VISTA" themed VISTA call. Several people in the office suggested I contact you about joining in! We're hoping to bring together a good number of former VISTAs pursuing different life paths. I hear you're in another year of service right now! We'd love to hear about your new position and why you decided to continue with VISTA for a second term. I'm sure we can learn from your experiences! Right now many of us current OE VISTAs are thinking about our futures and we can use all this insight/advice we can get.

I hope you can make the call. It's at 1pm this Thursday March 17th (details are copied and pasted below). I know this is rather last minute, but your perspective would be so welcome! Please let me know if this works for you. If not, maybe we can work something out in the future!

Thanks so much! Best wishes,

Denise

The best is yet to come,
~Adwoa
