You all know how much I love the fair. This year was no exception. I think in the last few years I've literally tasted everything worth tasting. Here is a list of this year's conquests:

- deep fried mac n cheese
One of the things I enjoy about the fair is that you are buying freshly made goods directly from the manufacturer. That means it all tastes better and the money you spend goes into the pocket of the person you purchased from. Every year I do a little bargaining to get a smaller sample for half the price or a larger order at a reduced rate. I kind of wish that fair food was a permanent market. It would serve as a farmer's market for city folks.
