I'm surprised that I was able to keep this news to myself for so long. It was a regular, ordinary day just like any other when I arrived home and checked my mail. Hmm, an interesting looking envelope addressed to me from Nashville. Of course my interest was peaked. Little did I know this was on the inside...
The best part about this gift is that I have no idea what I did to get it! My mother thinks it was the simple act of investing so much of my time and money into Martina's career. That might be it or it could be any of the weekly contests I enter. Or maybe it was that complaint I sent to customer service because I thought I was getting gypped in my fan club membership. Either way, I don't really care because I finally have some authentic Martina swag. Did I mention in this blog that I was sunburned last June while attending Martina's YWCA charity auction to help domestic violence victims. I couldn't get an autograph then but this makes up for it.
Martina is getting ready to go on tour with George Strait early next year. If there are any MM fans nearby who want to go to a concert let me know.
