Erin Go Braugh

In high school I LOVED St. Patty's Day. Actually in elementary school I loved St. Patty's day too. When I was in the single age digits it was simply because I loved the color green and having any excuse to wear lots of green was worthy of a holiday. When I got to high school I think it had more to do with the fact that it was different and I found things interesting that were different. Case in point, hanging from my wall right now are 3 wooden clovers that I was given that say "Erin Go Braugh" . Translated into English...Happy St. Patrick's Day

I researched Gallic for a while, bought myself a claddaugh ring from Dublin (that I still wear), wore a "kiss me I'm Irish" trucker hat until my Irish friend borrowed it forever, and researched Irish poems. I guess I just liked being the only one passing out "holiday" cards on March 17th.

So to relive those moments I wanted to share this humorous post I found in February. Check out the link for even more disturbing and some appetizing images.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I had my first "green beer" on Friday. The thrill was gone about an hour later I saw how it's made. I squirt of powdered food color in the glass followed by regular Bud Light out of the tap. Scratch that off the bucket list.
