BACKSTREET'S BACK!
Just thinking about it gets me excited all over again! Being at the BSB concert was like time travel. For 2 hours we were all 12-15 years old again. Every song seemed like it was your favorite. The set list was perfect except for when they started talking in between songs and attempting witty banter, then it just got awkward. Nick still got the loudest cheers as always and Brian is still clearly a crowd favorite. AJ (my fav) handled all the major vocals per usual and Kevin and Howie got a little more stage time than they did in the 90s. One of the funniest moments was during a transition and we were watching a preview for the upcoming BSB movie, one of the guys said "what do you do when you're a grown man in a boy band?" I got a kick out of that.
I didn't want the concert to end. Everybody was jumping up and down the whole time and dancing and screaming. We are all older than we used to be so you could see the fatigue as the night went on (basically I had to sit down) but as soon as the boys started singing another song we were all jumping and dancing again. I did some dance moves I couldn't replicate if I tried. I've never been more exhausted after a concert. I had to do a wardrobe change and take a short breather before we could leave the parking lot. It was AWESOME!!!!!
Jesse McCartney opened, but that was small potatoes
