To know me is to listen.

I've been thinking a lot lately about the people who know me the best. I think the thing that they all have in common and an outward sign that they know me well is that they all say "I'm not surprised" and "that's so you" when we talk.

In fact my sis, Reese, Step, and T-Ray say that basically every time I talk to them :) Manders gets her jabs in when she can but I guess for my ego lets me go a couple weeks in between.

To know me is to listen. To listen to what I say and more importantly what I don't say.

I've learned from these people that a huge part of knowing Adwoa is to hear what I say and then understand what I really mean. I don't know how they figured me out so well but they have. Maybe I'm repetitive maybe I talk in my sleep but it's a comfort to me when I hear that all too familiar phrase " I'm not surprised ".

To know me is to listen.
