"Genius Loves Company" a duets album with Ray Charles and friends.
This is one of the greatest albums I have ever listened to. I'm not even a Ray fan. Not that I dislike him but I haven't listened to much of his music. The album features 12 different artists performing duets with Ray. The choice of song and artist, paired with the quality of the actual duet is phenomenal. It's just good, solid music. I'm lovin' it!
No one song would make me purchase the album but the collaboration was really well thought out. I didn't know until I was fact checking for this post, but this was the last album that Ray Charles was able to record before he died. I'm sure some serious Ray fans have other favorites but this one has made it into my collection.

Another great compilation is Randy Travis's 25th Anniversary album. Same concept of old songs performed as duets.
