Happy 29th Birthday Carrie Underwood!!!!!

With a new single on the radio, a new music video debuting, an album on the way, and a new twitter account, my fanatic muscles are twitching with excitement. Maybe one day my birthday wish will come true and I'll get to hang out with Carrie. 


Country music superstar Carrie Underwood turns 29-years-old today (March 10), and there’s little doubt that despite having every release peak at either No. 1 or No. 2 on the country music charts, her best days are still ahead. Underwood is set to release her fourth studio album in May, but today seems like the best possible opportunity to reflect back on her relatively short, but incredibly successful, career.

So, what is your favorite Carrie Underwood song? Does ‘Jesus Take the Wheel’ still make you tear up every time it comes on the radio [me: yes!], or do you prefer the sassier hits like ‘Before He Cheats’ and ‘Last Name’? [me: yes! and yes!] Underwood’s co-written ‘All-American Girl’ is often forgotten when discussing the singer’s best songs, but it still holds a special place for many of her Care Bears [me: true!].
