Two weeks ago Glee aired it's 100th episode (technically it was a two-part episode). It's caused me to do some reflecting. They brought back all of the original main characters. I've cried during almost every episode since "The Quarterback" which was the episode that acknowledged the character Finn Hudson's death. Since Cory Monteith died in real life, the cast and creators eventually decided to phase out the show in 2015 (season 6). With all that pressure off, Glee is now free to do whatever it wants for the last season and a half. That being said I have LOVED the last few episodes!
One of the main things I've realized is that I've never been hooked to a television show the way I am hooked to Glee. I have seen every single episode of Glee, some episodes multiple times. For anyone who watched season 1 of Glee and made it to about season 3 you know that the quality of the show declined. I'm not even sure how I willed myself to keep watching, week after week but I did. Now as the show rounds the corner to close I feel like I should reflect on why I gave it 100 episodes or 100 hours.
*disclaimer I was never in Glee club in school, I was a band geek*
There are a couple dozen more episodes of Glee to go before it all ends, but with all the sentiment of this season I just wanted to reflect for a bit.
The best is yet to come,

- Glee club was about being a part of something; I can relate to that in real life
- the show has some witty lines-- I like to laugh (Santana, Sue Sylvester, and NeNe Leakes character are gems)
- I love musicals! From Disney to Broadway, they just make me happy
- Glee club was about being who you are-- the struggle is real
- high school for me was awesome, so reliving it is fun for me
