Go as far as you can without feeling bad that you didn't go further
I didn't have a watch today and I didn't try to compare or calculate the distance. I jogged until I was tired. I walked until I was rested and then I jogged until I was home. At the end I felt good and wanted to do more. After that exercise my body had it's aha moment! I went back to craving foods that were healthy and simple and wanting lots and lots of water. Trayonna can tell you that I was like a fish out of water those 2 months. Today I turned down sweet after sweet and have a better sense of when I'm actually hungry. I don't want to say the war has been won but today was definitely a victory in a long line of battles.
I know that each day I will be able to go further and run longer but I'm not going to feel disappointed for taking a 15 minute run if that's what satisfies me for the day. This specific philosophy may not apply in all life situations but if you're having a hard time motivating yourself to do something because the task seems too daunting I would say...just do as much as you can today without saturating yourself in the regret of not doing more. Today we celebrate the little victories!

p.s.- I had a little mojo boost from my original source of cardio inspiration :)
